Some aspects of it depend on the person, and there are probably 20 different profound nuggets of wisdom one could go by, which aren't coming to me at the moment, but I'd just say always dig deep. Be in touch with your deepest feelings and wisdom about a situation. Know yourself. Don't be shallow or petty. Also, have compassion for others. Try to make the world a better place, or at least somehow aid and uplift whoever happens to be in front of you. Also, don't be materialistic. Studies show people are happier who spend their money on experiences rather than things. Also I'm a big fan of the phrase, "your purpose is where your ability and your passion intersect." It may not be the best dictum for everyone, but it's a good thing to consider.
